The fourth international conference of the Iranian Language and Russian Literature Association

The fourth international conference "From the Caspian to the Persian Gulf, with Afanasy Nikitin" will be held at Mazandaran University.

According to the public relations report of Mazandaran University, the fourth international conference "From the Caspian to the Persian Gulf, with Afanasy Nikitin" organized by the Iranian Language and Russian Literature Association will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 1403, hosted by Mazandaran University.

According to this report, Dr. Masoumeh Motamednia, a member of the academic staff of the Russian Language Department of Mazandaran University and the executive secretary of the conference, announced this news and added: the topics of the conference include the language and literature of Russia and the Commonwealth of Nations, the culture and history of Russia and the Commonwealth of Nations, the Russian language in interactions International relations with Iran and other countries, Russian language and literature in literary interactions with Iran and other countries, the challenges of teaching Russian language and literature to Iranians and providing solutions, the perspective of the field of Russian language and literature in Iran, and Russians' historiography of Iranian culture.

​​​​​​​ Dr. Motamedania stated: Also, the translation of the fictional travel book "Crossing the Three Seas" written by Afanasy Nikitin Bazargan and the Russian traveler Ahed Timuri (died 1472 AD) will be unveiled on the opening day of the conference. It should be noted that the fourth international conference "From the Caspian to the Persian Gulf with Athanasius Nikitin" will be held by the Iranian Language and Russian Literature Association in cooperation with the Iranian Iranian Studies Association and the universities of Al-Zahra, Tarbiat Modares and Mazandaran University from October 8 to 11 in Tehran and Babolsar.
